Continuum Lake Tahoe

The commission

A private guest residence at Lake Tahoe, built around the kind of craftsmanship that holds up to close inspection. The interior centers on hand-selected black walnut millwork, shaped and finished into a warm, architectural foundation. Solid black granite countertops anchor the kitchen and bath with both sculptural presence and durable elegance, while premium brass fixtures are chosen for their weight and their ability to patina over time.

Custom plaid upholstery adds a tailored, heritage-minded softness that balances the harder materials, and one-off commissioned artworks by Babak Yaghooti complete the rooms. Every element is considered, layered, and made to last. Continuum takes its name from the unbroken line — a space made to carry attention and use forward without end.
